Data projects are often thought of as a technical initiative.  Although the technical underpinnings are important, key to success is business engagement from the beginning and throughout the engagement. We will lay out a best practice approach that takes a business-first result orientation from beginning to end.

Profile

Krishna Pulipaka provides program management support for the Data Analytics practice of Crowe’s Advisory Services. Her efforts at Crowe focuses on value delivery, schedule adherence, financial control, risk and change management.

Ms. Pulipaka specializes in program/portfolio management and process improvement techniques for successful delivery. Throughout her career, she successfully led dynamic, cross-functional teams and successfully delivered critical programs that required strong leadership, management and oversight.

Ms. Pulipaka excels in transforming complex processes and data sets into effective end-use solutions with automation. Her ability to reshape large disconnected datasets into business-friendly dimensional data models, while taking into account sophisticated business logic, has consistently helped clients to get the results they needed and insights into their own data.

Professional & Industry Experience

Ms. Pulipaka is certified, through the Project Management Institute, as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Prior to joining Crowe, Ms. Pulipaka was responsible for business solutions, strategy and enterprise portfolio management for a prominent oil and gas company.  She has over 22 years of IT project management experience, successfully delivering large scale, highly complex internal and external solutions. She has wide range of business intelligence experience and with business intelligence tool set.

Ms. Pulipaka started as an engineer building bridges and planning transportation systems and at the same time writing software programs for engineering applications. She soon became passionate about project management which effectively combined her highly technical knowledge with the discipline of project management, enriching her ability to understand end-user needs and their use cases with ease. She then translates the end-user requirements to a language that coders and database teams understand resulting in robust solutions with minimal re-work or no-rework needed once delivered.
